Os Gemeos

lovely

Sao Paulo

Portuguese, great coffee, Os Gemeos Grafitti, as well as other great street artists, Music, Pizza, German Beers, and as long as your not in the Center of the City in the middle of the night... nice people who don't want to stab you and take all your money.
Don't worry it hasn't happend, but came damn close to a death match in the street with two scuzy hooded zombie crack heads mumbling some words, one hand in the sweatshirt pocket, they wanted to rob us, they followed us for 3 or 4 blocks, got a bit weird, I was ready to do back flip disaster kicks to the toothless head of a man hungry for my money. We walked faster and faster and they finally got distracted by other prey. my friend says "Don't go down town with out a dagger and garlic, crack vampires are everywhere."

Last night we went to a mini carnival, where people dress up and dance like crazy to "Samba Music" there must have been 60 to 100 people playing drums.
Eu amo a cultura do Brasil, especialmente o graffiti

More from Iguazu

Iguazu Falls

Filled with Water, butterflies, biting bugs, lizards, Birds, Trees, and whatever else a jungle has.  First of all the Butterflies here are amazing and i know i didn't get to see all of them, but i got a few shots of them., I'll post at the end of these words.  when you go to a place like this your brain exlplodes, the Water Falls, Non stop water flow, it made me want to jump in and feel what it would be like to fall with water.  Sun Burnt, talking with an older German guy about the Swifts and the Swallows "Birds" (that fly in the falls all over the place, Same birds we have in Portland that fly around the huge Northwest school chimney through October then fly south) walking with two fellas from France, who seemed to be stoned off their asses, lolly gagin about.   LOTS ofWalking,   We ate lunch that we brought with us it consisted of Bananas, Apples, Rice we made the night before,  Sandwiches Bread-Salami-Cheese-Tomato       carrots and 6 litres of water ..... the town of Iguazu is mostly funded by the tourism, it seemed to be doing ok, but i saw little kids drinkin from a little stream and the water is not clean, sucks, little kids with inflated stomaches, sad sight, you give them the change  you have but you dont know what they do with it.   hopfully eat.  In the Hostel, People from all over the World, Russia, Japan, USA, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Italy, France, Germany, Columbia, Israel.  crazy to hear all the languages and pick up tiny bits from everyone,  It is crazy to me that most of these people not all but most of them know English at least enough to keep up a conversation and get to know eachother, English is a well known language.. well here are some photos from Iguazu.

thick clouds, long lines in the market, expensive shitty shitty coffee, really tastey meat, and other things

it's always a funny thing to find out that the coffee you ordered in a cafe (stated " the best coffee we have") turns out to be $12 pesos $4 US, its a double shot short Americano style, and tastes like burnt cat food tamped to perfection. It is an Issue!!.... I think the Buses in sud america rule the road, it is amazing that you don't see dead bodies on the sides of the road everyday , Motorcycles mob in between traffic while not wearing helmets and not once have i seen a car crash or an accident, its actually amazing to me. I have taken the Subte twice, its just like any other subte, oh yea they call it the "subte", and there are old guys, young women, tiny children, and teens trying to sell princess sticker packets, tape messures, screw drivers, other tools, rubber bouncy balls, belts, socks, little toy trucks, this is not just on the subte but on the street as well, hats, carmelized peanuts out of a little cart, camera memory cards, shoes, magazines, flowers, vegitables, fruit, jewlery, and much much more. Well eating food is really inexpensive, you can get BeeF of all cuts in the COTO's or the DISCO's the big supermarkets, from nice steak cuts to intestines, liver, Brain, heart, tounge, kidney, eyes, stomache, and im not an expert on the cow cuts but there are 23 cuts of nice meat in the Carnicerias, I made a hamburger yester day it felt good.. the money looks like play money and flyes out of your pocket with ease, but you never seem to spend that much it just feels like you are, 2 pesos 5 pesos 20 pesos 50 pesos 100 pesos,
20 pesos is $5.00 US. and you can buy 2 pounds of nice meat for 15 to 20 pesos, and go out to a Parilla Grill and get a shit tun of meat, salad and beer, for 30 pesos. maskeeters are always bizzy buggin you, but the wind rushes them off in the middle of the day, when it rains it really rains then the streets are dry from the wind in no time, its not really strong wind its just a constant nice breeze. sunny day all day today, we set up a slack line in a park and people stopped and watched and little kids ran under the line , limbo. I like empanadas, little flakey bread pockets filled with beef and cheese and olives, or chicken, or cheese and tomato, everyone makes um a little different but its a cheap little snack. $2.50 to 4.00 pesos yumms. to the tumms. I went to a dance club that was wild, it was a ware house, turned into a dance club, loud bumpin techno dancy music, broken glass everywhere you step, packed to the teeth, $10 peso beers 12 oz, at the store you can get a 32 oz beer for $4 pesos. dance. sweat. go deaf. try and speak spanish. french. english. and leave at 5 in the morning, yea its not somthin I would do regularly, i know many people here do, every day. but sunday, well maybe even sunday. i heard Little kids chant at recess in a school yard and it sounded pleasent.
Birds chirp to wake you up at 6 in the morning or to put you to sleep if thats when you finally get home. thats a little bit i need to write more but i need to eat so im gona eat
ciao ciao
